Join Pitt Rivers Museum staff viewing highlights of the Photograph Collections and current digital projects.

Known for its dense displays of objects, the Pitt Rivers Museum also houses an extensive photography collection. Held in the Museum's research space (on the first floor), the two sessions available are an opportunity to view some of the many photographs and learn about key figures in the history of the Museum. Visitor numbers limited to 20 people per session, with two sessions featuring same content.

The event will be in the staff only Research Space behind the scenes on the first floor of the Museum. The Meeting point will be at the bottom of the stairs leading from the main entrance via the Museum of Natural History. There is lift on the platform to the bottom of the stairs.
The first floor is accessible via a public lift as well as stairs.

Accessibility details

There is limited parking at the Museum. Access to accessible parking is via the Pitt Rivers Museum’s South Entrance in Robinson Close, off South Parks Road. This space can be booked in advance on a first come first served basis (telephone 01865 613 000). If there are specific access needs then those booking are advised to contact the Museum. Additional information
