Learn about 3D scanning of buildings in West Yorkshire

Join Dr Rowan Bailey of the University of Huddersfield to find out more about the ‘Post Office Cultures Project – Creative Scanning of Post Offices in West Yorkshire’
Using innovative 3D scanning techniques and meshing together camera images from a drone and ground-based camera the University team have been creating a unique record of both the interior and exterior of iconic Post Office buildings across West Yorkshire. This is part of a wider creative project to explore the cultures of Post Offices – both past and present- with communities in India and West Yorkshire.
