A walk tracing the route of Poulton`s railway system from 1840 to the present day, visiting the locations of its three railway stations. The route also gives the opportunity to explain the effect the coming of the railway had on Poulton-le-Fylde, including its livestock Auction Mart and the expansion of the town. There will also be the opportunity to learn about the history of the Civic Centre building, from where the walk starts. Approximately 4 miles.
