Georgian landscape garden in Bath with one of only four Palladian bridges in the world.

Prior Park Landscape Garden was created in the 18th century by Bath's local entrepreneur Ralph Allen, with advice from 'Capability' Brown and the poet Alexander Pope. One of only four Palladian bridges of this design in the world can be crossed at Prior Park.

Set in a sweeping valley above Bath, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the city and countryside beyond. The site includes winding paths, cascades, a summer house, ice house and breathtaking views across lakes that mirror the Palladian bridge.

Visitors can purchase refreshments from the Tea Cabin and enjoy outdoor seating. Dogs permitted on leads. No parking available (except for limited accessible spaces, please call ahead to book).
