Pub Heritage and Industrial relics guided walk
105 Neepsend Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S3 8AT
This short walking tour will explore Neepsend, an area in inner-city Sheffield which is currently 'on the up' (it's next door to Kelham Island, the 35th 'Coolest Place on the planet.'). We will encompass both aspects of industrial, and social, heritage and of the ‘Beer Capital’ status owned by the City of Sheffield. Highlights include the ex-Samuel Osborn Works (now Church – Temple of Fun), Naomi’s Corner, Ball Bridge, the JC Albyn complex, William Stones Cannon Brewery and the Beer Garden in the co-operatively owned Gardeners Rest.
Alongside the tour, copies of local Pub Heritage booklets will be available: £2.99 (cash only).

This event is a guided walk in Neepsend - some pavements will be uneven etc.
It is strongly suggested that you use public transport: the Infirmary Road tram stop is about 5 mins. walk from the meeting point. We will meet for a 1600 start.
