Known most often as the home of James Wolfe and Winston Churchill, everyday stories are just as powerful. Join us for this pop-up talk where we'll explore one of these which started with the discovery of a baby in a laundry basket.

In February 1851, a baby girl was discovered in a laundry basket in a London square. Hear from her great-granddaughter as she shares what happened next, Lucy's life in the care of the Foundling Hospital and beyond. This talk is part of Quebec House's Heritage Open Day programme, 'Our Place, Your Past'.
