Ranger's Walk - Hilbre Islands
Dee Lane, West Kirby, Merseyside, CH48 0QG
This small archipelago at the mouth of the Dee Estuary has a fascinating history dating back millions of years when the sandstone was laid down and to more recent times when Hilbre played a major part of safe navigation into the Port of Liverpool and which it then helped to protect in World War II.
This is a Ranger-led guided walk across the sands to the islands.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
