Guided Tour of Reading Old Cemetery

The Reading Old Cemetery History, Heritage and Education group invites you to a tour of our beautiful Victorian garden cemetery, which is 183 years old this year!
Meet us by the working entrance of the cemetery. Volunteers will take you around for a family-friendly tour of the site.
We welcome families and child-friendly activities are included in the walks.

We will be running two tours:
Tour A: 11.00-13.00
Tour B: 13.30-15.30

Accessibility details
Parts of the cemetery are on uneven ground. The main path is accessible but some of the side paths are not fully accessible. Let the guide know in advance and may be able to adapt the tour as much as possible. There are no toilets on site but there are cafes nearby that you may be able to use. There is no parking on site-again there are some options nearby for parking.
