Reading Quaker Meeting House will be open from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday 19th September. We will have two talks on ‘The History of Quakers in Reading’ at 11h and ‘Huntley and Palmer's’ at 14h. Garden, art display and refreshments.

Discover an oasis of calm in the centre of Reading at the Quaker Meeting House.
Our beautiful garden will be open including the burial ground where members of the Huntley and Palmer families are buried.
There will be an art display, a display of Huntley and Palmer biscuit tins and of course we will be serving teas and coffees with Huntley and Palmer biscuits.
It will be possible to buy copies of ‘A History of Reading Meeting’ for £8.99 (no cash please.)
We are having talks at 11h and 14h but visitors are warmly welcome throughout the day.
