The library will be open from 9am - 3.30pm with a heritage talk taking place in the library's meeting room: 'Architectural Curiosities of Retford' at 1.30pm - 2.30pm.
Bassetlaw District Council’s Conservation Manager Michael Tagg will explore the town’s special architecture, focusing on what makes each building unique and how they contribute to Retford’s special character and appearance.
The talk is free to attend but pre-booking is essential (limited spaces available).
Visitors can also drop in to the library's heritage room from 10am - 3pm to view historical photographs and documents relating to local buildings. No booking is required for this.
