A drop-in event to celebrate our Roman Silchester Gallery.

Celebrate our new project at Reading Museum, Roman Britain Reimagined in Reading, supported by the National Lottery Fund. Discover more about the plans to refresh the Silchester Gallery to tell new stories about the Roman town of Calleva, based on the most recent archaeological research by the University of Reading.

There will be object handling and information about the project for all, along with dressing up and activities for families. There will also be pre bookable 30-minute talks ‘Roman Britain Through Objects’ running on the day.
