The workshop will be led by local artist Debra Webster—known professionally as “Debsta”— a multifaceted artist, illustrator, educator, author and community advocate based in Nottinghamshire, UK. Her work blends creativity with a commitment to emotional well-being, particularly among children and families. She works in a variety of media and her art has been showcased in local solo and group exhibitions and is available to view through her website www.Debsta.com

- Ruddington is easily accessed by car from Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, Leicester and junction 24 of the M1. As you approach the village, follow the brown signs to help you find the museum in Ruddington village centre.
Please note that the museum has no car park.
Chapel Street is a cul-de-sac with very limited space, so please don’t park here unless you have mobility problems. Ruddington has plenty of free on street parking. You can also park for free at the Co-op car park on Church Street.
You can reach the museum easily by bus from Nottingham. Take NCT 10 from the Victoria Centre, Parliament Street or Angel Row, or NCT 3 from Beastmarket Hill or Maid Marion Way.
Both services stop at The Green, a short distance from the museum.
You can also get to Ruddington by bus from Loughborough, West Bridgford and several of the surrounding villages.

We will be holding this event outside in the gardens at the museum. However, we do have the Knitters Chapel as an alternative to poor weather. Therefore please dress appropriately.
