St Stephen's is home of the world famous Actors Chapel and is the spiritual home of Blackpool variety performance. This year there is an exhibition charting 100 years of performance, as well as Choral Evensong, a wine reception and a performance.

We will be hosting an exhibition curated by Ken Bowe, looking at 100 years of Variety Performance in Blackpool, as well as welcoming you to the home of the famous 'Actors Chapel' with names from George Formby to Tessie O'Shea immortalised in it.

On Sunday evening there is a beautiful Choral Evensong at 6pm, followed by a sparkling wine reception in the hall, before we are entertained by the fantastic Anthony Mason appearing as George Formby, as he strums his little ukulele through the exploits of Mr Wu, whilst showing a cheeky aspect when cleaning windows. Lampposts will be leant on and no doubt Grandad's flannelette night shirt will get an airing! There is no charge for anything, and teas are available.
