During the visit to Salford Road Solar Farm in Bolton, you will be guided by the Recycle for Greater Manchester Education Team who will take you up close to the solar panels, and explain how they work, why and how it is related to the contract for waste disposal in Greater Manchester. Find out what happens in the adjacent waste facilities and Household Waste Recycling Centre. While the session is open to everyone, it is particularly relevant to residents in the Greater Manchester waste contract.
