Since 1975, SAVE has been at the forefront of the fight for our architectural heritage, from landmark court cases and headline-making rescue campaigns to behind-the-scenes negotiations that have changed the fate of hundreds of buildings across the UK.
In this illustrated talk, Henrietta will share inspiring stories from SAVE’s archives and recent campaigns – from Victorian textile mills to whole streets of terraced houses – showing how determined action, creative thinking, and public support can turn the tide for endangered heritage. She will also look ahead to the challenges and opportunities of the next 50 years, including climate change, urban regeneration, and the power of communities to shape their places.
