The tour will look at old school buildings along Otley Street and Newmarket Street in the centre of Skipton with a brief introduction to the schools and some people connected to them, from the better-known such as Canon Ermysted, the Petyt brothers and Rudyard Kipling to some lesser known, such as an archbishop of Canterbury's wife and an ancestor of Ernest Shackleton.
