Shaping Ada's Legacy - a community workshop

Crewe Heritage Centre, Vernon Way, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2DB

  • 13 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Join us for a creative and inspiring community workshop where your voice helps shape the future of the A Statue for Ada campaign.

This is your chance to get involved in designing how we tell Ada Nield Chew’s story—through the statue itself and the wider educational programme around it.

During this interactive session, we’ll explore:
- What should Ada’s statue represent?
- How can we reflect the spirit of the women Ada stood for?
- How can we involve schools, artists, and local groups in bringing this project to life?

We believe that community ownership is at the heart of this campaign. This workshop is open to everyone—whether you’re an artist, a history enthusiast, a student, or simply passionate about Crewe’s heritage.

Come and share your ideas, creativity, and local pride—and help us create a tribute that truly belongs to Crewe.
Light refreshments will be provided, and all ages are welcome.

This is event is made possible through the funding support from Crewe Town Council.
