Our history walk will start from and return to Shire Brook Valley visitor centre going on natural paths and avoiding steps.

Start: meet at Shire Brook Valley visitor centre to begin the walk at 9.30am

Important information: This walk will be an out and back route to and from Shire Brook Valley visitor centre.

What to expect: We will walk on natural paths which are mostly flat but can be muddy if it has rained. We will avoid any steps to make it as accessible as possible. We will be stopping at several points on the way to talk about the local history. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. Refreshments and toilets will be available at Shire Brook Valley visitor centre.

Directions:
There is a car park next to the visitor centre accessed from Stone Lane. No7 bus stops on Sheffield Road (just passed the school) there is footpath access along Stone Lane to the centre.
