Visit Shropshire Archives for a carefully curated display of original documents celebrating the county’s rich architectural history and timed talks.

From medieval castles to modernist landmarks, the display will include maps, plans, surveys and photographs that tell the story of Shropshire’s evolving built environment. Drop in during the day to view the display and talk to staff about resources held at the Archives. Join us for short talks at:
10:15am Phil Scoggins: Architectural history of Shrewsbury's Square
2pm Gillian Roberts: Ould, weller and half-timbered buildings of Shropshire

Additional information

As the display contains unique original material, we ask that you put any coats and bags in a locker. This is £1 deposit. We can accommodate up to 45 people at each of the talks.
