Sketching Salus workshop
Arthouse S C A, 65 Eastbank Street, Southport, Merseyside, PR8 1EJ
Becky Atherton is a Lancashire-born artist who loves to explore herstory, female mythology, fairytale and folklore through her practice. As part of the wider 'Hidden Spaces and Silent Voices' exhibition, exploring the heritage of the Salus building through creative research, Becky is hosting an interactive Sketching Salus workshop inspired by her own work on this subject. Salus will also be appearing live in the studio for this event! This session is one of four being hosted at the Art House for the Heritage Open Days festival, inviting people to learn more about the Salus and to celebrate the works the building has inspired. More details on the Salus project can be found here: https://www.sca-network.co.uk/_files/ugd/253bf9_0fa46e0c093146a484165d8c7068dc13.pdf
