Society of Friends (Quakers) Meeting House (2025)
39 Carter Street, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 8EY
In the Quaker Meeting House there will be an exhibition of the history of the Quaker Movement, with particular reference to local Quakers. Also, details of the building itself and the burial ground, on land given to local Quakers when the owner of the adjoining house, Robert Heath, emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1700.
Relax in the peaceful garden, before making your way across the road to Redfern's Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life, with which we have links, where you can enjoy a visit and find refreshments.

There is a ramp down to the Meeting House which is accessible, but a small step to get into the Meeting Room to access the toilet. There are two wildlife ponds so we request that children are supervised. There are two spaces for disabled parking. Other parking available on the road for one hour or on nearby car parks.
This year we are not serving refreshments, but these are available at Redfern's Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life, across the road, which is open free for Heritage Open Days in conjunction with the Quaker Meeting House.
