Join Southwold Arts Centre for an archival dive into it's history, including exploring the history of the building, the Southwold Summer Theatre and the theatre itself.

This exhibition will feature archival posters and photographs from past productions, plus an outline of the journey of the hall to it's position today.

In this talk for Heritage Open Days, they will explore the history of the building, its place in Southwold's cultural life, and the journey that led to its transformation into the thriving arts venue it is today. Join Michael Rowan-Robinson, the Chair of Trustees, to explore the history and heritage of Southwold Arts Centre.

Exhibition on the history of the centre will be open from 11am onwards on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th.

Backstage tours
Join General Manager Gina Stock for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the backstage and technical side of the theatre. Tours will run twice; once before the 1PM talk at 12.30PM and once after the talk at 2PM. 12.30PM and 2PM on Saturday 19th September
