Come along and find out what happened in Spittal during the Second World War, from bombings to life in school. Also watch some slide shows on fishing and help gather information about the Gas Works.

The Church itself will not be open this year but come and see this exhibition and enjoy other activities in the Middle Street Hall. How was Spittal affected by the bombings, what was it like living as a child during the War and attending school. See a 3D version of the Spittal Gas Works on screen which has been created from the Archive plans and find out more about Spittal's fishing connection.

There are other events on in Spittal over the Heritage Open Days period. Have a walk around Secret Spittal at any time. The Lifeboat Station is nearby and is open on Saturday and Sunday. The Sailing Club is open on the Saturday and there are also various walks. See separate entries
