St Alkelda's Church, Giggleswick - one of only two churches in the world named after the little-known northern saint, Alkelda.

The mystery of St Alkelda. Who was St Alkelda? What is her link with the ancient church at Giggleswick? Come along and find out the history of the church and where Alkelda fits it. See the 'discovered' stained glass of St Alkelda, now restored and insitu in the church. The church is seeped in history and there will be a guided tour of the church at 11 am. Light refreshments will be available.
