St Anne's Catholic Church, Wappenbury

St Anne’s sits on a large, fortified Iron Age settlement dating back to approximately 700BC known as the Wappenbury camp. The river Leam forming part of its defences. The church originally dates back to the 1700s. The church was completely renovated and refurbished in 2014.

Enter the village of Wappenbury and bear right at the green triangle with the signpost ‘Churches’, bear left at the next junction, past the thatched cottage and St Anne’s is on your right-hand side.

A booklet of the history of the church will be available to visitors. Mass is celebrated each Sunday at 0830
