St Annes Church Gibbs Lane Syston will be open for Heritage Open Days. Believed to have been completed around 1100 it has fine architecture and Edwardian murals of angels on the interior walls.

Not normally open on weekdays there will also be opportunities to ask questions about the stories behind the paintings.

Wheelchair access will enable visitors to access the nave. From here all aspects of the church can be seen. There are toilets a short distance from the church sited in the Church Room. There are no tours - visitors will be free to look around at their own speed. Churchwarden will be present to answer questions
