The church was founded in the 11th century and contains memorials to the Peyto family, including Sir William Peyto who commissioned the nearby Chesterton Windmill.

On the 20th & 21st September locals will be on hand to take you through the history of St Giles Church and village. There will also be tea, coffee and cake available to buy.
