St Hilary’s stands on a site of Christian worship for over 1,000 years. With Saxon roots, a surviving 1530 tower, Norman font, and a stunning 1859 rebuild after a fire, it’s rich in history. Discover ancient artefacts, a renowned Willis organ and the best views in the Diocese of Chester.
Tower Tours – Join us for guided tours of the historic bell tower, running hourly on Saturday and from 1pm on Sunday. The final tour departs around 3pm. Please note: visitors must be aged 8 or over to climb to the top. Please check our Facebook and website pages for further information.
