St John's Church, Burringham
St John the Baptist, High Street, Burringham, Lincolnshire, DN17 3LY
Built in 1856/7 by S S Teulon, this red brick church shows the architect at his most dramatic and original. The church, with its distinctive tower and polychromatic brickwork sits below the east bank of the River Trent.
The interior has lovely stained glass and heavenly painted constellations on the ceiling above the altar.
A representative from the CCT will be available, to talk informally about the history of the church.
