Why not make Wonersh, Surrey your destination on Saturday 19th September. You can combine a visit to the Grade II listed Church of St John the Baptist with a 45 minute self-guided walk “Exploring Historic Wonersh”

Probably originally Saxon, the church was re-built shortly after the Norman Conquest in the eleventh century and despite two major restorations still retains its Norman features. Members of Wonersh History Society will be on hand to answer questions about the church and some of the people, both famous and ordinary, who have passed through its portals.
You can combine your visit with a 45 minute self-guided walk “Exploring Historic Wonersh” using a free leaflet and map which guides visitors around the centre of the pretty village of Wonersh, this may be picked up at the Church on Saturday morning. Those taking part in the walk do so at their own risk.
