St John the Baptist Church, Dowling Street, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, OL11 1EX
The Eric Newton (Oppenheimer) mosaic surrounding the high alter depicting Christ the King is dramatic and thought provoking. The mosaic was restored in 2022/23 with the help of lottery funding. The Church itself is iconic with its large white dome.

- Directions:
- The Church is opposite the front of Rochdale train station. Various buses to the railway station stop directly opposite the Church. If you are travelling by car be careful not to miss the narrow, one way turn from close to the entrance of the train station that takes you to St. John's. The free car park is on the right immediately after the church. Please note a mass will take place each Saturday at noon.
