St. Julien's Church, Winkle Street
St. Julien's Church, Winkle Street, Southampton, Hampshire, SO14 2NY
The church was used regularly from the 16th century until 1939.
Ownership of the church was transferred to The Queen's College, Oxford, which still owns it, in 1343. The chapel is only occasionally accessible to the public so this is a very special opportunity to explore one of Southampton's monuments.
The building is Grade I listed, it was extensively restored in 1861 and consists of a stone rubble exterior and tiled roof with a low square tower.
