St Leonard's, Hythe Open Day
St Leonard's Church, Church Road, Hythe, Kent, CT21 5DN
On Saturday 19th September from 9:30am-4pm St Leonard's Church will be completely open. The day will feature:
- tours of the West Tower to explore the ringing chamber and bells.
- a chance to visit the Round Tower and East Roof to see Hythe from the hilltop and get some amazing photos.
- tours of the churchyard to visit some of the interesting characters who rest in the churchyard.
- the church's vestments on display and a talk as to their purpose.
- an exhibition in the Parvis with some a chance to flick through some of the parish records.
The crypt will be open all day (usual charges apply).
