St Mary and St John's Church

An intricate alter covered in green cloth and candles is situated in front of a series of statues depicting biblical figures, with Jesus in the middle. It is decorated with gold detailing. Incense burners hang from the ceiling. In the background, stone walls and stained-glass windows allow sunlight into the church. The floor is decorated in a mosaic-tile pattern. There are stone carvings on the wall depicting angelic figures

St Mary and St John's is a late Victorian, Gothic Revival church with an ornate gilded and painted reredos, and a good collection of stained glass.
