Find out about the history of the church and its role in the life of the community. From early days as a tin tabernacle, to our new fresco we provide a focal point for the community. Experience it yourself while you listen to live music.

We will open the church on the afternoon of Saturday 12 September, visitors can:
• Walk around the church to appreciate the art and artifacts acquired by the church over the years including sculptures by George Wagstaffe, a great collection of 1930s/40s stained glass and our newest addition, a fresco by Aidan Hart.
• Enjoy a display of embroidery by the Phoenix Stitchers.
• Learn about our history from a display of photographs of the church and community from our archive show casing our role in the history of the community.
• Take the opportunity to meet community groups including uniformed children's organisations and the Re-Yous charity.
• Listen to an Organ recital and a performance from the Forte Choir.
• Take part in children's treasure hunt.
• And it wouldn't be a church event without our Blue Roof Coffee van and lots of cake!
We will also open up our garden for a chance to enjoy tranquility in the middle of the city, and provide the chance to recharge in our peaceful Lady Chapel.
