A magnificent Grade I listed church and a place of worship for over 1000 years: Mostly complete by 1450, and described by Pevsner as one of the ‘most exciting' churches in Cheshire. Bell tower open: 13th Sept. Come and sing evensong: 14th Sept.

The church overlooks the green in the picturesque village of Astbury.
All are most welcome and we are an Inclusive Church. There is so much to explore: outstanding woodwork, splendid roofs, beautiful windows and an amazing 2000+ year old yew tree. Tours are self-guided, and there is also a children’s trail, a prayer walk, and history boards.
The ringing chamber in the bell tower is open on Saturday 13th September.
On Sunday 14th September there is a come and sing evensong at 6.30, with a rehearsal from 2 to 5. Singers need to book a place: email [email protected]
