St Mary the Virgin, Carisbrooke, is a medieval Church of England parish church on High Street in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. The church is believed to date from the Norman period and is part of the former Carisbrooke Priory, which developed from the 12th century. The church has a fine south arcade, from this period, and a fine 15th century tower built by the monks of Sheen in Surrey when the original priory was dissolved by Henry V in the early 15th century. The church is Grade I listed for its exceptional architectural and historic interest and continues to serve the Carisbrooke community as an active parish church.

Accessibility details
The principal access to the churchyard is up a flight of steps, near the war memorial. There is step-free access from the lynch gate at the south-west end or through Carisbrooke estate to the north. Please do not use the steps opposite Castle Street as there is very poor visibility at the crossing particularly from the churchyard side.
