St Marys church at Hook
St. Marythe Virgin Church, Church Lane, Hook, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, DN14
The Grade II* listed building celebrated its 800th anniversary in 2025. Elements of the Church survive from the 13th and 14th centuries, followed by a restoration in the 19th century. Inside the Church are monuments from the 18th and 19th centuries, and from the First and Second World Wars. Within the churchyard are several rare Cholera Grave markings dating to the 19th century.
