St. Matthew's Church open day with tower tours

The first stone of St. Matthew's Church was laid on 23rd November 1826 and consecrated on 9th November 1827. So we are gearing up for a year of celebrating 200 years, and will have a programme of events available.

There is a ramp access to the church, but the ringing chamber is only accessible up the spiral staircase of 41 steps.
