St Nicholas Church

Built in memory of the founder of the Harrison Shipping Line and his wife by their sons containing magnificent Arts and Craft stained glass by Shrigley and Hunt, wonderful carved wooden reredos, beautiful Lady Chapel, memorial to WWI of painted panels and bronze rolls of honour, WWII memorial and many beautiful stone carvings.
