Come and view and celebrate the work of the local community. Each church kneeler tells a story. Discover why the Textile Group created a huge St Christopher opposite the main door and why they have embarked on a huge St Margaret.

There is a feast of architecture in our Medieval Church with its later architectural additions. There are beautiful brasses and a recently recreated funeral helmet of Sir Nicholas Saunders. Discover the fascinating history of The Saunders Family and their connections to the Tudors. Find out how the medieval wall paintings were painted over and then later rediscovered; what visual stories do the paintings portray? Why did churches paint pictures on their walls in medieval times?
