St Nicholas' Church - Ulceby Heritage Display
St Nicholas' Church, Church Lane, Ulceby, Lincolnshire, DN39 6TB
St Nicholas' church is mentioned in the Doomsday book and has been added to over the centuries. The church contains some historically important features including a rood screen which very probably came from Thornton Abbey, a series of 15th century pew ends, and nationally significant stained glass windows.
Visitors are welcome to come and explore the church at their leisure and the door will be open from approximately 9am to 5pm every day.
The village heritage society have mounted a display of photographs of the village in days gone by.
There will be tea, coffee and juice making facilities available, and we also have an accessible toilet.
