St Nicholas's Church

A beautiful, medieval church with many interesting features and sympathetic Victorian restoration - Walton tomb, leaning tower, sanctuary knocker, squints, coat of arms. The art installation ‘We Are Gathered Here’, created by students at Gloucestershire College, will once again fill the church. Depicting a congregation in silhouette, it pays homage to the people who have contributed to Westgate Street and Gloucester’s fascinating heritage over time.

There will also be musical events over the weekend. (see entry under Music for details).
