During our Heritage Open Days this year we want to highlight the changes in community life around the church through maps, photographs and written histories. From the times before the arrival of Pilkingtons Glassworks through the development of the Garden Village to the modern 21st century housing development visit us to see what and whom you remember and add to our collection with your own stories.

- Directions:
- Visitors arriving by bus or train should alight at the stop for Kirk Sandall railway station and turn left on to Sandall Lane. From there take the third turn right on to Pilkington Road where the church is at the end of lane. There is car parking alongside the canal or on street parking on Pilkington Road itself.

Accessibility details
Uneven floors. Ramp access to main body of the church but one step through narrow access to Chantry Chapel and main part of local history exhibition. No toilet facilities.
