St Peter's - A Farming Church
St Peter's church, Church Lane, Wintringham, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 8HX
Join the volunteers of St Peter's church on Saturday 19th September to explore the amazing history of this wonderful medieval church and it's links to the countryside in which it sits and how that has formed its use and its position within this historical farming area of North Yorkshire.
Our volunteers will deliver a number of informal tours of the church throughout the day and will be on hand to explain the church's significance within the community and to provide hot and cold refreshments.
On Sunday 20th September at 6pm the new parish priest Rev'd Kate Mitchell (AOP) will conduct a traditional Harvest Service, celebrating the importance of farming and farmers to St Peter's. St. Peter's is cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust.

This is a medieval church in a rural village. There have been no modern adaptions to either. Access through the churchyard is uneven and the church itself has uneven stone floors, although there is an access ramp from the main door into the church.
