Explore the beautiful Peter's Church of Austin Palen design. We also have a World War I war memorial, believed to be one of the best in the North West and will host an exhibition on the local history of the church and school.

Discover St Peter's Church - take a look around our church you will see the alabaster pulpit which was formerly in the Military Chapel at Manchester Cathedral and at the outbreak of the 2nd World War the pulpit was removed and St Peter’s was chosen because it was similar to the design to the reredos. In the porch entrance there is a niche with the statute of St Peter above the doorway

The War Memorial was built in 1919 to commemorate the names of those fallen who came from within the parish. It has 129 names inscribed and inside church a research has been produced with the details of those on the memorial.

We're also hosting an exhibition, that consists of articles relating to our Mothers Union, Brownies, and in particular, documents from our school from bygone days to the present, photographs of events taken over the years.
