With history dating back more than 1000 years, this is a wonderful opportunity to discover the Saxon tower and medieval features of St Peter’s Church. There will also be workshops taking place.

St Peter's Church's history dates back over a thousand years. There are displays about the nearly 3,000 skeletons discovered around the church. During the open day there will be calligraphy and clay workshops taking place. The open day will end with a performance of original songs by the providers of the clay workshop.

The church will be open from 10am-2pm. Booking isn't required to visit.

There is no site-specific parking. There is parking in Barton-upon-Humber which visitors can use. There is one toilet on site which is a unisex accessible toilet.

Additional information

Some of the collection of over 2,800 skeletons are on display in the church, however most are kept in a storage room in the church which is closed to the public.
