St Thomas’ Church, Parkgate

Closed for 16 years, this tiny sandstone church was refurbished and reopened in 2010. Local community projects in support of ‘The Bishop’s Trust’ raised the money for the renovation. The ‘Fisherman’s Church’, as it known locally, is a testament to their sterling efforts. Financial assistance was also given by English Heritage.
