Although it is the third-largest complex of prehistoric standing stones in England, the three circles and three-stone ‘cove’ of Stanton Drew remain surprisingly little-known. Step back in time and uncover the mysteries behind these ancient stones as part of the Heritage Open Days festival.

Cost: Free tour! (Note: A £1 entrance fee is charged directly by the landowner).

Parking: Limited parking available on-site—please plan ahead or consider car-sharing where possible!
Meeet at the entrace to the Stone Circle
Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time at the entrance to the the Stones. Please note the tours are free but a £1 fee ( cash only) is charged by the landowner to access the circles field. You can pay this at the beginning of your tour.
There is limited free parking at the entrance to the stones field. Further free parking can be found adjacent to The Druids Arms. Farm livestock is likely to be present in the stone circle field therefore no dogs are allowed.
