Visiting the Steam Tug Brent at Maldon’s Hythe Quay offers a unique glimpse into maritime history, as she is the last surviving steam vessel from the Port of London Authority's fleet. Built in 1945 as a TID-class tug, she is a rare survivor of World War II construction, featuring a unique welded, flat-plate design.
